CRKT Pat Crawford Triumph Folder Tactical
September 14, 2007
This tanto bladed beast of a knife has ironically been made by a rather
soft-spoken man, Pat Crawford. Pat has been making folders for over 30
years and works out of Arkansas with his son Wes making defensive knifes for
many hard working professionals such as: bodyguards, FBI agents, firemen,
park rangers, secret service, security guards and U.S. Marshals.
Described by Pat as "a fast cutting machine for professionals", the blade on
this tactical folder features a reverse-curve tanto that in concert with the AUS
8 stainless steel is an incredible cutting knife. The blade is available
in a variety of cutting edge and color options. The knife can be purchased
with a Razor-Sharp, a Combined Razor-Sharp or the Columbia River Knife and Tool
exclusive Veff wide angled serrated blades. The 3.50" blade is also
available in matte black with black and green G10 scales or a camouflage tiger
striped non-reflective blade with G10 scales. And with the blades 0.14"
thick blade with its incredible thick 0.1" stainless steel liners, this knife
can powerfully penetrate. And because this knife is for professionals on
the front lines, this knife is available with the CRKT patented Outburst
mechanism which rapidly deploys the blade once it is 30 percent open.
The handles are sufficiently contoured and machined to ensure excellent grip
in wet and muddy conditions. And the knife is ambidextrous with dual thumb
studs. This massive 6.3 ounce folder has an overall length of 8.5" and a
closed length of 5".The knife comes complete with a Teflon plated stainless
steel removable clip and a limited lifetime warranty. The knife is available at
$149.99 retail prince
